David Hayward started the topic Important Changes at TLS Afoot: Please Read! in the forum Chit Chat 1 week ago

I want you to be aware of the development and maintenance of our online community. It costs money, and I spend tons of time, care and energy on the site and its members. I think most of you, if not all, know and appreciate this.
Therefore, occasionally, I put out a request for…[Read more]

Yes, it’s actually a real thing now. I think this is good because I remember the day when many therapists discounted or dismissed religion as a legitimate topic to bring up in therapy. Now they’re realizing it isn’t.

I find the whole concept of cursing very fascinating. I also believe there is something to it. Whether it’s the power of words and energy or what. But it is interesting to me. I’ve felt them before.

I watched an episode of West Wing. In one episode one of the characters is dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
At one point his therapist tells him, “I can’t cure you. But I can help you remember the event without reliving it.”

David Hayward started the topic A good post on asexuality in the forum Sexuality & Relationships 3 months, 3 weeks ago
I thought this was a very fascinating read on asexuality and relationships. This is based on an interview of an asexual couple who are married. I know there are some members of TLS who consider themselves asexual. Maybe this will be helpful and affirming.

David Hayward started the topic My first TLS Local! in the forum TLS Meetups 6 months ago
I just had our first TLS Local meeting Thursday night, May 15, at our local library. There were 8 of us. Apparently it went very well. I was quite nervous, but now that I’ve broken the dam, there’s no stopping me!

Don’t be sad @moxierocks!! To be honest, I didn’t read it. And here’s why: I was WAY more interested in YOUR story than that one. And that’s definitely the line your thread took. People were more interested in you than Lark News.
