Unlike all of you, I have some bad habits. They are your typical sins that I have tended to fall into when I’m going through a difficult time. They are: drinking too much; smoking too much; and being horny too much.

It’s not that there’s anything morally wrong with drinking. Nothing morally wrong with smoking. Nothing morally wrong with being horny. But for me I slip into these things when I’m trying to fill the void or numb the pain.

Autumn is upon us. It’s time for some things to die. So my Saturday Supplement is to figure out what in my life I need to allow to die, to fall off the tree, and to become a part of my history. I do not plan on giving up alcohol. I do not plan on never having another smoke. I do not plan on giving up sex. But I do plan on not hanging on to them for dear life.
