Today my wife Lisa graduates with her Bachelors in Nursing. She writes her federal registration exam June 5th. She starts work in palliative care and oncology on the 10th. She’s been a full time student for five long years.

During that time we went through personal bankruptcy. I left the ministry. We left the church. Our kids all left home to start their own lives. We lost almost all of our friends. The change was enormous and not easy.

Lisa was 47 when she started.

We have no regrets.

It’s been worth it.

It’s never too late.
