A verse that always runs through my mind, like background music stuck on repeat, is when Jesus says, “I am the door; if anyone enters through me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture” (John 10:9).

I hear this as an invitation into absolutely everything. I am completely free to come and go, and if I exercise this freedom I will never lack nourishment. Never.

The Lasting Supper is based upon the assumption that we are completely free. We are free to come and go as we wish when we wish. I promise always that you will find nourishment here. Not just from what I contribute but to what everyone else here contributes. That’s my task and my pleasure.

There’s lots of food. You are free to come and dine.
