It seems like being content with being single is one of the hardest things for me. For awhile I try to look for somebody and when I don’t, I just give up and try to focus on other things, but honestly I never completely stop thinking about it. It sucks. I just want to be fine with where I am, and be detached from desire in the unnecessary sense….but it just feels so difficult. Especially after it’s been so long…
Yes, it’s hard, @savagesoto. I feel it too.
And the typical advice I’ve received about “having good friendships”? Well, it just isn’t the same.
