I read an article on an upcoming video game today and the game happens to feature artwork from this French street artist C215 or Christian Guémy. His work is vibrant and colorful and has a documentary feel to them as he mainly paints portraits of people. It really caught my eye, I find him life-affirming.

“C215′s subjects are typically those such as beggars, homeless people, refugees, street kids and the elderly. The rationale behind this choice of subject is to draw attention to those that society has forgotten about. ‘I paint in the streets people really belonging to the streets: tramps, but also beggars, street orphans from the poorest countries.'”
