    Church is supposed to be a place where we see people come to life, but every time I step into church I feel like I die a little more.

    If that’s the case, it brings up this question: Do you want to die a slow death (keep attending church and die a little more each time) or a quick death (completely abandon going to church) and die all at once. I don’t know which is worse to tell you the truth! Either way we are going to experience deep sadness and inner turmoil. Maybe it just comes down to personal preference. Like how some people inch their way into the shallow end of a swimming pool and others dive right into the deep end. I think there are probably pros and cons to each – the same way there are pros and cons to dying a slow vs. instantaneous unexpected physical death.
