I’ve started reading my old journals. I’m seeing the same struggles in there that I have now and the same passions. Back then I had a hard time believing in the god of the bible but I keep up with it because that was all I had. I’d say it was box that I was in, but I don’t think it was necessarily good or bad. I also loved the small groups over large services. I tried working in the box – making cell groups, small groups, small churches.
So I think I’m coming back to who I truly am. Some days it seems clear and other days its elusive. I’m feeling more and more confident and ready to speak who I am.
