Hello, my name is Jarred. I’m a forty-year-old gay man living in Western New York. Religiously, I’m a witch (I prefer that term to Wiccan for various reasons, but don’t mind if people find it more comfortable to use the latter). I converted from Christianity (I grew up in a conservative-leaning American Baptist church and was heavily involved in lay leadership up to a few months before I left Christianity) back in 1998. I’m a member in a small local Wiccan coven called The Wick. I have a very close (on occasion, too close) relationship with the goddess Freyja.
I work as a software engineer and love to write, read, watch movies, go for walks, and go hiking in my spare time. I look forward to learning more about and sharing with this community.
