THE LASTING SUPPER
VALUES & PRINCIPLES
We are building The Lasting Supper to provide a rich resource and non-confrontational community for people who want to be spiritually independent and free. We are providing a place to be transparent and honest, which we believe will create greater understanding and connection between individuals with a diversity of beliefs or non-beliefs. The Lasting Supper promotes openness and transparency by providing a venue to share and connect, and certain principles guide The Lasting Supper in pursuing these goals. Achieving these principles should be constrained only by limitations of law, technology, and evolving social norms. We therefore establish these Principles as the foundation of the rights and responsibilities of those within The Lasting Supper.
FREEDOM TO SHARE
Members of The Lasting Supper have the freedom to share whatever information they want with each other, in any medium and any format. They also have the right to connect online or offline with other members, as long as they both consent to the connection.
OWNERSHIP AND CONTROL OF INFORMATION
Members of The Lasting Supper own their own information. They have the freedom to share it with any other member they want and take it with them anywhere they want, including removing it from The Lasting Supper website. Members also have the freedom to decide with whom they will share their information and be given the means to control their choices. Those controls, however, are not capable of limiting how those who have received information may use it, particularly outside The Lasting Supper site.
FREE FLOW OF INFORMATION
Members of The Lasting Supper have the freedom to access all of the information made available to them by other members. The Lasting Supper endeavors to provide the practical tools to make sharing and access easy, quick, and efficient.
FUNDAMENTAL EQUALITY
Every person is fundamentally equal and The Lasting Supper ensures that all members enjoy equal opportunity and use of The Lasting Supper Service. There should be a single set of principles, rights, and responsibilities that should apply to all people using The Lasting Supper Service.

Members of The Lasting Supper have the freedom to build trust and reputation through their identity and connections on The Lasting Supper site, and should not have their presence on The Lasting Supper removed for reasons other than those described in The Lasting Supper’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities.
OPEN STANDARDS
Members should have programmatic interfaces for sharing and accessing the information available to them. The specifications for these interfaces should be published and made available and accessible to all members of The Lasting Supper.
FUNDAMENTAL SERVICE
People should be able to use The Lasting Supper for the current registration fee to establish a presence, connect with others, and share information with them. No persons shall be denied membership due to their financial situation. Every person should be able to use The Lasting Supper Service regardless of his or her level of economics, participation or contribution.
COMMON WELFARE
The rights and responsibilities of The Lasting Supper and the members that use it should be described in a Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which should not be inconsistent with these Principles.
