Fascinating story. Yes her voice here would be quite welcome. One particular point in the story wasvery telling to me.
“Another low: the emails, messages and phone calls from people who wish her harm. Anonymous people have threatened her with violence and rape.
“I had to shut down one of my email accounts because I could not stand to open it anymore,” she said. “I was a mess.”
This type of behavior from people professing to follow Christ still somehow amazes me. Every time I encounter it I am still blown away by it. Maybe someday I will come to accept it as routine…but I hope not.David…we really could use a way to edit these comments.
