  • Wow Susan. I have experience with similar things (though not as wild as this) and I do still wonder about them, now that I don’t really think there is a god. Interesting that the Taoist shaman lifted whatever it was – of course we were always taught it was only by the blood of Jesus.

  • The church was constantly telling us not to live only for the spiritual highs, yet was constantly creating those (rousing music, sweeping language, calls for action…)
    It’s interesting for me to realise now that some people don’t constantly live with those highs. And I wonder what it has done to my psyche.
