    Never really cared for the Simpson’s…I guess because it was while I was still brainwashed and saw them as too irreverent.  I have this feeling I would love them now.  And this cartoon is brilliant!

    @Gary, my husband & I used to watch the Simpsons and joke about how we were probably going to Hell for it because they were so irreverent.  Oddly, though we were both more conservative Christians at the time, we loved Ned Flanders and Reverend Lovejoy because even then we knew that there were really people like them in the church–and it disgusted us.  My favorite episode is still the one where Bart sells his soul to Milhouse for a dollar and then he can’t make the automatic doors at the Kwik-E-Mart open anymore.
